Neurowellness Training

Fall Proof - Learn to Fall Safely

Fall Proof - Learn to Fall Safely

Neurowellness classes are small group classes designed for people with neurological conditions who are motivated to improve function and fitness. Our classes are designed in a circuit-training style, incorporating aerobic/endurance, strength, and balance training. Each station within the circuit focuses on arm and/or leg exercise targeting major muscle groups, movements that will challenge your brain and body, driving neuroplasticity! We use a variety of equipment, including harness systems, support bars, and hands-on physical assistance, to ensure exercises are safe, effective, and comfortable for all participants.

Each class is led by a Board Certified Physical Therapist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. We can modify any movements based on your needs.

This 10-week Fall Safety and Recovery class is thoughtfully designed to equip you with practical skills and confidence to reduce your risk of injury. Led by a licensed physical therapist, the program will teach you techniques to fall safely, minimize the impact of a fall, and how to get back up safely and quickly when you do fall. Each session aims to combine exercises focused on balance, strength, flexibility and mobility and your active participation! By the end of the course, you will have valuable tools to enhance your safety, maintain your independence, and improve your overall confidence in moving through daily life.
