Jenny earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis. After graduating, she moved to Miami, FL, where she completed a year-long residency specializing in geriatric care. She has a deep passion for working with older adults - not only does she enjoy hearing their life stories, but she also admires their resilience and motivation during therapy sessions.
After several years of clinical practice, Jenny pursued further training in neurological rehabilitation. She was accepted into the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) residency in Vallejo, CA -the birthplace of PNF. Through this intensive program, she learned a unique, hands-on approach to treating individuals with neurological conditions. PNF integrates physical, emotional, and cognitive aspects of recovery, using sensory stimulation and guided movement to enhance functional mobility. Today, Jenny specializes in neurological rehabilitation, applying PNF principles to help clients regain movement and independence. She emphasizes motor learning through task repetition, appropriate intensity, and developmental sequencing to optimize functional outcomes.
In addition to her clinical work, Jenny is a teaching faculty at the University of Washington Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Passionate about education, she enjoys mentoring and inspiring future physical therapists by sharing her expertise and clinical experience. She is honored to be part of one of the nation’s top-ranked physical therapy programs.
Outside of work, Jenny loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys outdoor activities. She and her family have a passion for travel, exploring different cultures, cuisines, and traditions. She feels fortunate to have visited four continents and looks forward to more adventures ahead!
